HAPPY HALLOWEEN !!!
Hi, my name is Elliott. Everyone calls me "Baby LABAH" though. My mom, Sara, works at the clinic and you can find me working with her several days a week. I thought I would pop in to tell you guys some very important Halloween safety tips:
  • Leave your animals indoors. There are people out there that like to do vicious pranks on Halloween and your pets might be in danger. They could also get spooked from the trick or treaters running around. Black cats especially should be watched carefully.
  • No candy! As much as your dog or cat may beg for it, candy is not a healthy treat (chocolate is toxic). Instead, you can buy dog or cat treats at the pet store.
  • Clean up after yourself. Candy wrappers can get stuck in your pet's digestive tract. Your pet could wind up needing expensive surgery if this happens.
  • Watch the door! While giving out candy, be sure your pet doesn't dart out the door when you aren't looking.
  • Supervise lit pumpkins. If you light your pumpkin, your pet could knock it over and cause a fire. Be sure to supervise animals around the pumpkins and don't leave home with an unattended lit pumpkin.

Everyone at LABAH wishes you all a safe and happy Halloween!
