Help Save Lives!
If you’ve been on South Congress lately, you’ve probably seen a huge silver trailer in the parking lot where Austin Pets Alive! does adoptions. The trailer is the rescue group's first neonatal unit, housing newborn kittens (and sometimes puppies too) who need to be fed every 2 hours. Instead of having the bottle babies needlessly killed at the shelter, APA had this innovative idea to save them. If you've ever wanted to help care for babies, but can't dedicate the intensive time commitment, this is the perfect opportunity to help! Whether you can give a few hours a month or a few hours a week, APA would greatly appreciate the help to save the lives of these little ones!

Adopt Buttons
Buttons (currently fostered through Austin Pets Alive!) needs a home! He was dumped at the shelter as a baby after his back legs were caught in a door. He still doesn't have use of them, but he is going through physical therapy in hopes that he can regain strength and use those legs again. You would never know he is only working on two legs judging by his spirit though. He loves to play, snuggle, climb, and do all the other kitty things!
